Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: February 4, 2026 Last Updated: May 5, 2026

Welcome to WeldCore (K&B Online LLC DBA WeldCore). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at https://weldcore.org and your enrollment in any welding classes, programs, or courses offered by WeldCore (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, enrolling in any program, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use this website or enroll in our programs.

1. Eligibility

All participants must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in any WeldCore class or program. By enrolling, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. WeldCore reserves the right to request proof of age at any time and to deny or revoke enrollment if this requirement is not met.

2. Programs and Classes Offered

WeldCore offers welding training programs and classes ranging from single-day introductory classes to multi-week certification preparation programs. Program durations, schedules, content, and availability are subject to change at our discretion. Pricing for our programs ranges from approximately $500 to $5,000 depending on the program selected. WeldCore reserves the right to modify pricing at any time; however, pricing changes will not affect enrollments that have already been confirmed and paid.

3. Enrollment and Deposits

A minimum deposit of ten percent (10%) of the total program cost is required to secure your spot in any class or program. Deposits are due at the time of enrollment and may be paid through our accepted payment methods. Your enrollment is not confirmed until your deposit has been received and processed. Seats are limited, and enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Payment Terms

We accept payments through PayPal and WooPayments, with additional payment options to be made available in the future. Full payment of all tuition and fees must be received prior to the start date of your class or program unless a financing arrangement has been approved. If you are utilizing third-party financing, you are solely responsible for meeting the terms and conditions of that financing agreement. Approval or denial of financing by a third-party provider does not create any obligation on WeldCore’s part.

5. Financing

WeldCore partners with third-party financing providers to offer payment plan options for qualifying students. Financing is subject to credit approval and the terms established by the third-party provider. WeldCore is not a lender, does not guarantee financing approval, and is not responsible for any terms, interest rates, fees, or disputes arising from your financing agreement. You are solely responsible for all obligations under your financing arrangement.

6. Deposit Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within seven (7) calendar days of the class date or program start date. If you cancel your enrollment more than seven (7) calendar days before your class or program start date, your deposit may be refunded at WeldCore’s discretion, minus any administrative processing fees. Refund requests must be submitted in writing by contacting us through our website or by phone.

7. Deferral Policy

If you are unable to attend your scheduled class or program, you may request to defer your enrollment to a later available date. All deferral requests are subject to management review and approval. Deferrals are not guaranteed and are granted at WeldCore’s sole discretion. To request a deferral, you must contact WeldCore management prior to your scheduled start date. Approved deferrals must be used within six (6) months of the original enrollment date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Failure to attend the deferred class or program without further approved deferral will result in forfeiture of your deposit and any payments made.

8. No Guarantee of Certification

Enrollment in any WeldCore welding course or program does not guarantee the issuance of a welding certification. Certification is contingent upon the student’s successful and voluntary completion of all required assessments, practical evaluations, and testing criteria as determined by WeldCore and/or the applicable certifying body (including but not limited to the American Welding Society). Students must independently demonstrate the required competency and pass all examinations through their own effort and ability. WeldCore provides the training, instruction, and testing opportunity, but the outcome rests solely with the student.

9. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Welding is an inherently hazardous activity that involves risks including but not limited to burns, eye injuries, exposure to fumes and gases, electrical shock, fire, hearing damage, and other physical injuries. By enrolling in any WeldCore program or class, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in welding training activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless WeldCore, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by you during or as a result of participation in any WeldCore program, class, or activity, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

You may be required to sign a separate liability waiver and assumption of risk agreement prior to participating in any hands-on training.

10. Student Conduct

All students are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully while on WeldCore premises and during all program activities. WeldCore reserves the right to dismiss any student for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, or in violation of facility rules, without refund of tuition or deposits paid. This includes but is not limited to arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to follow safety protocols, harassment or intimidation of instructors or fellow students, and damage to equipment or facilities.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the WeldCore website, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, and curriculum, is the property of WeldCore or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any WeldCore content without our prior written consent.

Our website is provided on an “as is” basis. While we strive to keep all information current and accurate, we do not warrant that all content on the website is error-free, complete, or up to date. Program descriptions, pricing, schedules, and availability shown on the website are subject to change without notice. In the event of a pricing error, WeldCore reserves the right to cancel or modify the affected enrollment.

13. Third-Party Services

Our website integrates with third-party services including PayPal, WooPayments, financing providers, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook) advertising. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. WeldCore is not responsible for the actions, policies, or content of any third-party service provider.

14. No Employment Guarantee

WeldCore provides welding training for educational and skill-development purposes. We do not guarantee employment, job placement, or any specific career outcome as a result of completing our programs. Any career assistance, job referrals, or industry connections provided are offered as a courtesy and do not constitute a guarantee of employment.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeldCore and its owners, officers, instructors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your enrollment, participation, or inability to participate in any program, your use of or inability to use our website, any reliance on information provided on our website or during training, or any certification outcome, employment outcome, or career result. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to WeldCore for the specific program or class giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WeldCore, its owners, officers, instructors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your participation in any WeldCore program or activity, your use of our website, or any misrepresentation made by you.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your enrollment with WeldCore shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Lucas County, Ohio, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys’ fees unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Lucas County, Ohio for any matters not subject to arbitration.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any enrollment agreement or liability waiver you sign, constitute the entire agreement between you and WeldCore regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

21. Changes to These Terms

WeldCore reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or participation in our programs after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

  • Customer support and follow-up communications
  • (If you have separately opted in to marketing messages) special offers, promotions, discounts, and service updates

After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

22.3 Help and Support

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or you can get help directly at B.Ruppel@WeldCore.org or by calling 419-779-4046 during business hours.

22.4 Message Frequency

You will typically receive approximately one (1) message every two (2) weeks; however, message frequency may vary based on your service usage, enrollment activity, and appointment schedule.

22.5 Message and Data Rates

As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
