Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 4, 2026 Last Updated: May 5, 2026

WeldCore (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by K&B Online LLC DBA WeldCore, operates the website https://weldcore.org. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, enroll in our welding programs, purchase classes, opt in to our text messaging program, or interact with our advertising.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly. When you enroll in a program, register for a class, submit a contact form, or make a payment, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, date of birth, payment and billing information, and any other information you voluntarily provide during the enrollment or inquiry process.

SMS Opt-In and Consent Data. When you submit a form on our website, you may separately and voluntarily check one or both consent boxes to receive marketing text messages or non-marketing text messages from us. We record the consent option(s) you selected, the exact opt-in language presented to you at the time of submission, the date and time of consent, and the IP address and browser information used at submission. This record is maintained for compliance and audit purposes.

Payment Information. We process payments through third-party payment processors including PayPal and WooPayments. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers. Payment data is collected and processed directly by these third-party providers subject to their own privacy policies. Additional payment options may be added in the future.

Financing Information. If you apply for financing through one of our third-party financing partners, your financial information is collected and processed by those providers under their own privacy policies. We may receive confirmation of approval status but do not access or store your full financial application details.

Information Collected Automatically. When you visit our website, we and our advertising partners may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, pages visited and time spent on those pages, referring URL, and general geographic location.

3. Advertising and Tracking Technologies

Google Ads. We use Google Ads to promote our programs. Google may use cookies and tracking pixels to serve you relevant advertisements based on your visit to our website. This includes Google remarketing, which may show you WeldCore ads on other websites across the Google Display Network. You can opt out of personalized Google advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Facebook/Meta Ads. We use Meta (Facebook) advertising tools, which may include the Meta Pixel installed on our website. This technology collects data about your interactions with our site to help us measure ad effectiveness and deliver relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at Facebook Ad Preferences.

Cookies. Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of our website, including the enrollment and checkout process.

We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records with Google, Meta, or any other advertising platform.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Payment processors (PayPal, WooPayments, and future processors) to complete transactions
  • Third-party financing providers if you apply for a payment plan
  • Advertising platforms (Google and Meta) for campaign measurement and remarketing — excluding any mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent records
  • Service providers who assist with website hosting, email communications, SMS delivery, and analytics, strictly under contractual confidentiality and only to the extent necessary to perform their function
  • Legal authorities if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights

Mobile Information Non-Sharing Clause. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, maintain enrollment and financial records, comply with legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years as required for tax and accounting purposes. SMS consent records are retained for as long as you remain opted in, plus a reasonable period thereafter to demonstrate compliance with applicable telemarketing and consumer protection laws.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of marketing communications by email at any time
  • Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us
  • Opt out of targeted advertising through the mechanisms described in Section 3

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the information provided below.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including financing partners and payment processors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our programs are designed for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. SMS and Mobile Information Privacy

This section provides additional detail regarding our text messaging program and is provided in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and U.S. carrier (A2P 10DLC) requirements.

Separate Consent. Marketing and non-marketing text messages require separate, affirmative opt-in. Consent checkboxes on our forms are never pre-selected and are never required in order to submit a form, request information, schedule an appointment, or enroll in a program.

No Mobile Information Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Use of Mobile Data. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in records are used solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive (such as appointment confirmations, class reminders, scheduling updates, customer support replies, and — if you have opted in to marketing — promotions and offers from WeldCore), and to maintain the records required by law and by our messaging service providers.

Opt-Out. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After we receive your “STOP” message, we will send a confirmation message and will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt in again.

Help. Reply “HELP” to any of our SMS messages for assistance, or contact us directly at B.Ruppel@WeldCore.org or 419-779-4046.

For the full SMS program terms, including message frequency, supported carriers, and carrier liability disclosures, please refer to the SMS Messaging Policy section of our Terms and Conditions at https://weldcore.org/terms/.
